When I started this painting, strangely enough, I chose the most crumpled canvas that was in my studio to paint over.
Very slowly, layer upon layer, it became lighter and
lighter , until I felt it gave off light..
Half an hour after it was finished, the canvas was already sold. 💫🙏♥️

Now, neatly stretched, slight wrinkles are still visible in the shadows; perhaps these are somehow there meant to be.

To get the summer a head,
I found a vintage hat.
( that looked a bit sad)

I started by adding some paint at
old butterfly wings, bent them,
and sewed it on.

There it ends,
with a black fluffy ball in it's center.

Now can you feel it's swing?
So more lush to look at. ✂️
